OpenSMOG

While the SMOG webtool and SMOG 2 can generate a force field, one needs to then perform the actual simulation. For this, you can use Gromacs, NAMD, LAMMPS or OpenMM. In order to benefit from the full versatility of the SMOG 2 package, the best option is to use the OpenSMOG libraries with OpenMM. This allows you to create your own definitions of SMOG models, as well as use previously-published variants. In addition, when using GPUs, the performance with OpenSMOG is really unbeatable (thanks to OpenMM!).
